Some churches want CANAAN to run their creative forever. Others want something different: a season of hands-on training so their own staff and volunteers can eventually own it. Neither is wrong — but most agencies only offer the first one. We built the second one on purpose. If you've ever thought "I wish someone would just show us how," this page is for you.
Live, hands-on sessions
Your staff/volunteers work real church projects with a CANAAN creative watching, correcting, and explaining the "why," not just the "how"
Systems training
Planning Center, Church Center, Canva Pro workflows, content calendars, brand guidelines, and approval processes, taught the way we actually run them
Raise up your leaders
We don't just hand your team a checklist — we teach the strategic thinking behind it. By the end, your people aren't just executing what we tell them; they can plan a sermon series, build a content calendar, and troubleshoot a bad edit on their own.
HOW TRAINING WORKS
Training your team for success.
We partner with your current leaders, staff or volunteers and train them to succeed in every area of design, photography, videography—included in your subscription.
Audit
We start by learning where your team actually is — what your volunteers already know, where the gaps are, and what tools you're already using. No generic curriculum. We train based on your real starting point, not an assumed one.
Train
Your staff and volunteers work real church projects — this week's sermon graphic, this month's content calendar — with a CANAAN creative coaching them through it live. They learn by doing the actual work, not watching a tutorial.
Release
Training has an end date. At 90 days, we check back in to see what's sticking, troubleshoot what isn't, and confirm your team can run it without us. That's the goal — not a longer contract.
"They trained our team, local volunteers, with no experience, to take on everything." (Plan: Growth—$1,297/month)

frequently asked questions
We’re here to answer your questions.
Clear answers, no fluff. We’ve designed CANAAN to be intuitive from day one—but here’s where we answer the most common questions with clarity and care.
How does it work?
We’ll help you determine the right fit. Book a strategy call and we’ll evaluate your team size, creative needs, and expected project volume to recommend a plan that matches your ministry goals and capacity.
Yes. CANAAN is built around long-term partnerships because consistent creative support produces the best results for churches. Over time, we learn your culture, brand voice, and ministry rhythms — allowing us to work faster, deliver better quality, and serve your team more effectively.
Every church receives guided onboarding with our team. We start with a kickoff session to understand your vision, branding, tools, and workflows. Most churches can begin submitting projects within a few days, while we continue learning your systems to support more advanced creative needs.
Not every project benefits from AI — and we’re intentional about when it’s used. Some assets, like sermon graphics and motion visuals, benefit from AI-assisted workflows. Others, such as long-form publications or branded resources, often require traditional creative processes. Any AI-supported work is always reviewed and refined by our creative team before delivery.
Does CANAAN support teams in different time zones?
Absolutely. CANAAN is built for global teams with different schedules. From workflow notifications that adjust to local time, to real-time collaboration that doesn’t require everyone to be online at once, we make working across time zones feel natural. You can set time-aware triggers, assign reviewers by region, and keep your processes running smoothly around the clock.
Yes—your plan is always in your control. Downgrade, upgrade, or cancel without needing to contact support or jump through hoops. Your settings and data are preserved, so if you return later, you can pick up right where you left off. We believe in earning your trust, not locking you in.
Free 30-minute audit of your church's website, social media, and email strategy. You'll get honest feedback, specific fixes, and a clear roadmap—whether you work with us or not.
